well i have a personal journal that has how i feel about things n me and my friend were writting .in it n and my teacher saw us and took it away i didnt get sent to the princible office but mrs. r showed teachers an the students i talked about.

I need tips that u r going to give to 5th graders about middle school and what to do/ not to do and what are the expectations. Also if possible, give tips to 8th graders for high school on the same thing. Also if u can, can u tell me what the high school course that u get to make robots and stuff is called(what type of engineering). Please answer atleast one of the questions.

(Now Im not asking someone to plan my life out for me, I just want some other ideas besides the couple I have now; to see all my options)

Fiance is going to school to be an orthodontist, and Im joining the Marines. I wanted to enlist but Ive been persuaded otherwise by a lot of people; so Im going to go through NROTC (Not Navy, Marines). Ive always known I wanted to go into the military, but if I want to make a career out of it; I might as well put in the extra 4 years and get an education to start out at a decent rank.

But back on topic. I want to go through NROTC (Marines) and come out a 2nd Lt. in the USMC Infantry. My question is, what major would you reccomend for someone that has a decent head on their soldiers but not a genious, that would hate a deskjob.

Im just looking for some ideas here, Ive been looking into Criminal Justive for the past year but I want to see what other people's opinions are.

(Probably going to Purdue)(Indiana)

OK in the beggining of my school year there was a test that you could take that would determine if you would be in the school's math team or not. i didn't make it. now- halfway into the school year, the state competitions will start. Today i found out that 2 of the people on the school team dropped out, so my friend recommended me on the team. So, now im on the school math team and the competition is in 2 days. Alll these kds on the team had months of training and i have only 2 days. I'm really scared and i feel under pressure! help! can anyone tell me how i can prepare for this and not feel so scared aobut it?

I just got the results back from my FAFSA with an extremely high EFC ($70,000+). Is this what my family is expected to pay over all for years or just for one year? We are solidly middle-class, with only one working parent, and live in a very expensive city, so this seems awfully high. Any way to lower the number/appeal?
