well i have a personal journal that has how i feel about things n me and my friend were writting .in it n and my teacher saw us and took it away i didnt get sent to the princible office but mrs. r showed teachers an the students i talked about.

Well I think you teacher just screwed up BIG TIME. She had NO Business showing this to ANYONE other than maybe your parents or the principal. And this is IF what you wrote was threatening in some way. If you wrote for example that you thought the person was a big fat aszhole then I don't think it should warrant anything more than the teacher getting in touch with your parents at most. BUT IF you wrote something like I'm gonna kill the biotch, then she might have been right doing what she did. But NO THREATS then she had NO BUSINESS. You might be able to do something legally about this as well. Good Luck.

Technically, if you bring anything to school, the school has a right to confiscate it. The principal probably thought that it was a 'slam book', which is not allowed in school. And if you were letting someone else see it and write in it, it doesn't sound like it was all that personal.
