I have the same exact problem as you. What I have been doing lately is just telling myself that if I miss school, I'll pay later. I'll have to do makeup work and face questions such as "Why weren't you at school today!?". If you miss too much it will also resort to having talks with the principal and you might have to pay fines. That has already happened to me, and my parents weren't exactly thrilled.

I just tell myself bad things that will happen if I don't go and think of good things that might happen if I do go. Example of good: What if I see that hot guy again? Maybe he will talk to me today!

Because sweetheart .you can go everyday now ,or wish you did later. When you try to get into college they will look at your attendance record and turn you down . when you think you are cool now you will be a nobody later in life the longer you wait to straighten up your act the longer it will take . two three or even five yrs from now ,You'll say to yourself I wish I went to school everyday . Because the years will come whether you go or not .

that's right ,five years are going to come whether you do the right thing or not THAT'S WHY!!!!

My school is only 450 teens in grades 9-12. Missing has to do with how healthy you are and whether you skip school, not how big your school is or how much you like it.

I go to school to gain knowledge and prepare myself for college. Sure, I don't like getting up early and doing long calculus homeworks, but I tell myself that I must do it. For the good of my future.

The more days you miss the harder it is to catch up, so try not to skip school.

School is interesting and important. I don't want the 10 pts. You sound like a complainer and a kid who won't just put up with it and do he work.

We are motivated to further our education so we can actually become something in life instead of spending our lives working at a fast food joint.
