I ask this question because I am for a project I have I am going to draw someone with various job titles to his/her name, eg I could give him a chef hat, with a police uniform and a paint brush in one hand. Even though I tell them specifically in the assignment that Wikipedia cannot be used, I always have at least three or four in the class who insist on using it. I tell them it can't be considered a "credible" source since anyone--including them--could add material to it.

I have a 1st grade student who has a brain tumor and the prognosis is not good. I work in the school library and have had questions asking us what books to recommend on the subject that would help that child and the other children understand. Every day I pray for a miracle for her, but we need to be prepared to deal with what the future may bring. I will be checking with an agency that does grief counseling, but does anybody have recommendations from personal experience? We already have the books "The Next Place" which is beautiful, and also "What is Heaven?" by Maria Shriver. And if you would like to pray for her, the little girl's name is Maria. Thank you.

can anyone explain in easy terms what irony is? i know a lot of people use the term wrong. i remember hearing that in alanis' song "ironic", most of her examples in the song aren't actual examples of irony. who knows how to properly use this word?

I am a sophomore English major at a school called Claflin University. They really aren't exposing me to many internships, so I decided to take it upon myself and search for internships that would benefit someone with an English degree.

First of all, my search is broad, so if anyone could help to stear me in the right direction. My future goal is to write for a magazine, work for an online magazine or a film company like the Cannes Film Festival.

If anyone knows of any internships or can tell me where to look being that I'm an English major, I'd gladly appreciate it. PLEASE HELP ME!
