A good reader is one who loves to read books. It appeals to his/her imagination, and the best way to develope reading skills is to turn off your video games, pick up a good action book, or, science fiction, or whatever you are interested in, get a quiet place to absorb yourself in the book, let your imagination out of all boundaries, and enjoy. Then pick up another. and repeat x times!

If you, or your loved one doesn't know how to read, the BEST place to start is www.starfall.com. I managed a computer lab for the last 10 years. This is what I started my kindergarteners on. It goes from the very basics (learning how the letters sound), to blended letters (putting to sounds together). It is very fun and educational. Good luck; this is a wonderful site!

In my opinion reading is the best way to enhance knowledge.
Reading books is the best habbit. The most important point while reading is that we should try to enter in the character of the story and feels our self in the story. The important point to remember is that we do not do any other work during reading.
"please try my opinion"
