Im a senior goign to college next year, hopefully to UCLA. I heard that on average people take 4 or 5 classes. So If I want to do pre-med I would have what? like (chemistry, spanish, calculus, and something else like an elective?) can you give me a typical schedule a pre-med student might have? I am so curious how pre-med students can have 4 courses or 5 went the most important freshman year is chemistry and maybe calculus.

If a person completed a year at Cambridge and was forecast a First, was then very ill for a year and finished off the final two years at another university (gaining a First, as forecast), would they be regarded as having gained any sort of a degree (even a 'Pass') at Cambridge?

I would be grateful if only people who actually know the answer to this question could reply. Thanks.

my 5yr old daughter was going to Salvation Army Daycare for almost 3 yrs. I'm now on maternity leave & have her in public school for Sr. Kindergarten. Our neighbour had her 5yr old daughter in same daycare & now same public school. She wants to put her daughter into Catholic school next year for grade 1. Since we both have babies, & are due back to work same time, she was going to return to work & have me watch her baby boy & take her daughter to school & pick up. My sister lives upstairs in the house we live in & her kids go to the public school. I'm not sure which to put my daughter in next year. Should I go to the trouble of getting my hubby's batism certificate (his parents are Catholic) & enroll her in Catholic school with her best friend? or leave her in the public with her cousins? She is VERY smart and seems to be way ahead of the other kids in her class now, & I heard the Catholic school was a better education. HELP! Both same distance to walk.

Why when you're saying someone is being unusually good, do you say "butter wouldn't melt in their mouth"?

What are the origins of this saying?

I have to invent a whole new society with new laws and values for my art project. Here are some of my ideas so far-
Have ninja or robot cops
Smoking ban throughout the world
Peace ( No war no more )
Better cleaner environment ( Improved recycling )
A limit to cars per household
Anyone committing crime will be sent in a canon to pluto
End to poverty. Everyone gets paid the same.

Obviously some of these laws are a little silly and will never take place, but its the design process that is most important to my project. It's just these law ideas is the thing that is holding me back from getting to actually deesign what I am to design for the project.
If anyone can think of any additional laws or beliefs I will be very grateful. They can be funny or stupid. It doesn't really matter. The better the ideas, the more I have to work with. Can even be similar to the monster raving looney party's ideas.

There have been numerous incidents where it seems like she is flirting with me or hinting at something more but it's hard to tell. I know when I first saw her in the beginning of the year I didn't think much of her but then I had to go into school early one day and I had to visit her classroom and I didn't need anything from her but she insisted that I stay and write something down for her and as I was doing it she sorta whispered something into my ear. When I walked out of the class I got a chill and just felt like something was wrong. There have been other incidents but that is the one big one. There hasn't been any contact though and she's actually a really attractive woman in her 30's and I'm 17.

Please help me edit this paragraph...Thank you!!!

[paper is on judicial restraint or actvism...i picked restraint]

Evidently, I’d base my decisions strictly on the beliefs and principles of the Constitution- so, indirectly, I would be basing mine on the founding fathers’ beliefs. My decisions would be based on the principles of the Constitution such as freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of press, freedom of assembly, and the rest of the Bill of Rights. These basics would be important to everyone because they would guide me through making decisions in court. I’d also base my decisions on laws, amendments, and other documents. In addition to this, I would assure that every person was treated equally, every person would be known as innocent till enough information was known to declare one guilty, and all helpless (endangered animals, children, and disable) would be protected.

[more coming]
