I'm a Sophomore in high school, and I'm having a tough time with school. My 9th grade year was a disaster! I had to go to a school which was always moving because it had problems with the LAUSD. It was shut down at the end of the year. I lost interest in school because of the school. Most of the teachers weren't even into teaching. Because of this my bad habits with school took an all new high, and I had bad hibits before. Ex. Not turing in homework, not studying for tests etc.

I really want to change my habits, but it's so hard for me to do. I've been trying so hard, and yet I can't seem to get it down. I lock myself up in my room until my homework is done, but sometimes I decide to skip doing my homework because of some lame excuse. On top of that I have a mother, (My father left around 6 years ago) that wants all A's from me. I want to change. I want to show the world I'm not a failure! *O.k. maybe just my family and friends* I need help before I feel like I've lost it all...

i was gonna transfer to a uninversity next may after coming back to community college and trying to finish a ton of credits i have left.
but since i got 2 more semesters of spanish and 3 or 4 more semesters of math, i was thinking its best if i stay and finish.

however, since the college i want to transfer to is 30 mins away from the community college and i live 15 mins from the community college, commuting wouldn't be too bad.

but im already 25 be 26 next year and when i might finish next year, i'll be 27 and i still haven't moved out from my parents home yet.( Ive been trying to start my career and have been traveling a lot ) and thats kind of a big incentive.

ideas?

Has your computer ever given you problems? Perhaps it stole your paper you just saved, or it displayed “Fatal System Error” and proceeded into a fit of chronic shutdowns, or even got a virus and refused to cooperate. Well, if this has ever happened you should know why the typewriter has to be a much better machine.
First off, with a typewriter, there is nothing to turn on, no waiting for anything to load, all you have to do is load some paper in and you are ready to start

I'm curious about this. This morning, Rachael Ray was recognized for coining the word/abbreviation "EVOO" (short for extra virgin olive oil). The Oxford English Dictionary is adding it next year. Since she is the reason the word is now common, would she receive royalties for it? That's ridiculous right?
