Mmkay, to simplify ... who you love or who you respect and admire is a reflection of your own personality.
For instance, if Person A's biggest hero is Saddam Hussein or Bin Laden, that might tell you a lot about that person.
Or if Person B is in love with someone who has a history of rape and assault, that could tell you a lot about Person B .. dependency issues, easily conned or gullible, low self esteem, low self confidence, etc.
If Person C is in love with a confident and seemingly caring person, who works a good job and seems to have a head on his shoulders, it's usually fair to say that Person C does as well.
