I'd greatly appreciate any help, but please show work!
an object with a mass of 0.2 kg is being pushed along a level surface. total displacement is 20 m. the object starts at x=0 m and t=0 sec. the net force varies with the displacement, as shown in a graph. (graph has force in Newtons as y-axis and displacement in meters as x-axis. the line is level at 4 N from 0 to 12 meters. Then it goes from 12 meters at 4 N to 20 meters at 0N)
a) how much work is involved to move it from 0 to 12 meters?
b) what is its speed going from 0 to 12?
c) what is its speed going from 12 to 20?

i'm really confused. my mom told me that barely any colleges demand the SAT, although a lot allow you to choose between the SAT and ACT. but my friend, (who has her heart set on Notre Dame) said that you MUST take both the SAT and ACT, because she thinks that all colleges DEMAND the SAT. what's the real deal here? and also, would it be smart to take both tests?

I have asked my english teachers and they have some pretty heated opinions on it. Just to be clear, this is if students read a book, and are using sparknotes to help them remember the ideas in a chapter, main events, etc.
