The LCD stands for the Least Common Denominator. If you were going to add or subtract fractions and 8 and 3 are the denominators, you need to find a common one, like
1/8 +2/3
Their LCD is the LCM (least common multiple) of the two numbers. Find the multiples of 8 and 3
8, 16, 24, ...
3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24...
so 24 is their LCM or the LCD
Same for the rest
9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, 81, 90,....900
100, 200, 300, 400, ..., 900
so 900 is their LCD--sometimes you just multiply (9 x 100)
same for 100 and 11. LCD = 1100

lcd = least common denominator.
The idea is to factor each number and
find their greatest common factor, called the LCM
Then their LCD = their product divided by their LCM.
In each case none of these pairs has a prime factor
in common, so the answers are
24, 900 and 1100.
