I have slacked off ALOT in my 730am COM100 class at my college. I looked at my grades, and I have no chance of getting a "c" or better.

What would look worse on my transcript, a Voluntary Withdrawal or an "D" or "F" ?

If the voluntary withdrawal is "without prejudice" then it doesn't look bad. Technically, that means the college said it was ok for you to drop the course and you did so within their guidelines. Dropping the course without prejudice does not affect your GPA. A D or an F definitely looks worse on your transcript.

Failing is worse because it showed you came to class and going to class tells people you could had a family problem or something.

a withdrawl does nothing really to a transcript. a d or f everyone looks at and it just looks like you are either stupid or lazy
a W has too many variables for them to think much about

Failing is worst. Without a doubt.

colleges don't mark dropped classes on ur transcripts, only classes you didn't drop, so if u drop a class it'll look as though you never took it, as opposed to failing it.
