After you've followed some suggestions here and you have an idea of how you want to schedule your activities, here's a tip I use:
when I have a few chores (tasks, homeworks) to do, I do the HARDEST (or biggest, or longest) one first. After that the next difficult, and on until things are done. It's way easier getting everything done when you start off with the worst.
Good luck.

You need to figure out what matters to you most, why it matters to you, and prioritize those things. If you don't identify what's really important to you, then it's easy to let other things distract you. Then figure out what you need to do, what you should do and whatever is left that you'd like to do. Plan your time to work on the need to's and the should's.
Check out the books "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" as well as "The 10 Natural Laws of Time and Life Management" if you want more detailed guidance.
