I have this science project to do for my class and we need to design a water bottle, a label and 2 properties of water that would make people want to buy your water. Also, i need to write a couple paragraphs on how my building of water and stuff like that wont damage the environment. A few web site sources of water rights/laws would be really cool too. thanks for answering my question.

I read this and thought I'd post my FIRST question -- see what everyone thought. Either from an instructor or student -- point of view. I'm sure the answers will be quite interesting.

Personally, I'm not much of a math fan. Actually, I'm surprised I even passed (barely) the subject in school. But I do notice that when I'm faced with some sort of mathematical obstacle (especially when I'm writing computer programs), so far, I'm able to figure the math out. --go figure.

Did anyone ever get really tired of college? Of doing work, going to class, worrying about the future? I know it's supposed to be the greatest 4 years of life, and I feel like I'm throwing them away. I'm a senior and so sick of school. I feel bad, bc I know I'm lucky to be in college at all, but I just feel like I'm wasting time, taking classes that won't help me make a difference, and I'm just tired in general of writing papers and such. Am I the only one?

Marsupials are unusual animals. Their babies are born like
those of other mammals but in an earlier stage of development. The babies crawl into a pouch in their mother’s body, where they continue to develop. Most marsupials live in Australia, but not all. Opossums are marsupials, and opossums live in North and South America. Does the existence of opossums support continental drift? Explain.

I want to go to a good college...I've slacked off all through high school, I've got a 2.833 GPA, but I still want to go to a good college. I feel like I would be letting people close to me down if I didn't get into a good college at this point. The only things I've got going for me at this point are the fact that I'm a really good trombone player (I intend for trombone performance to be my major) and I made a 29 on my ACT test. What are my chances of getting into a really good college?

Will a professor who I choose to supervise an "Individual Projects" class that I am taking earn money for teaching/supervising it? Or would he/she get stuck "volunteering." Background info:
People in my major who need elective credits can choose to take a class called "Individual Projects" where you earn up to 3 credits towards your degree. All you need to do is write a 20 page essay about any topic you want throughout the semester (4 months), and meet once a week with a Professor (you choose whatever professor you want) and show them what you have accomplished that week.
So my question is, if I choose a professor, will they think of this as a burden (because they don't get paid) or will they think of this as an honor/a chance to make more money (because they do get paid)?

I'd appreciate answers from actual professors or students who know for a fact.
Thanks.
