I have noticed that when I am with other people that I have a hard time communicating my thoughts using the right words or tone. I notice most of the time I am conscience about not having anything to say and I draw a blank. I don't have the words sitting right on my lips and it seems that when others speak that their words just roll off their tounges. I find it difficult to say what I want to say, even though English is my first language and I am in college taking Critical Thinking courses.
What could be the problem, I feel like a racing car engine with a bad transmission. I am very sharp and I have a good sized vocabulary. For some reason I can't seem to form thoughts to make meaningful or witty conversation.
How could I improve?
Can anxiety hamper your thought making process because I have some anxiety around new people or people that I feel I need to impress.
