Not all the time, but often.
Some people are not mentally or emotionally able to cope with unemployment/poverty or an incapacitated partner.
At other times it can actually make a union stronger; if you can get through the bad times together.

Well I'm flat broke and I live on the 2nd floor. If I lived any higher, I would say screw love and jump OUT of the window. I don't know but it would be nice to find love. Sure would make my crappy life a lot better.

Well, it could, if that's what you believe. However, we create our own reality anew in each moment, so you can have whatever you want, but you have to believe it with the core of your being - not just a passing thought that flits through your mind. Thus, if you want both love, wealth and peace of mind, then you can have that, too. You just have to feel it in your bones.
