Whenever you add or edit a course, you will have the option to check Block schedule. If you've taken block courses, then you know that a one-unit block schedule course will be completed in one semester instead of the two semesters needed in a traditional schedule.
Would my class Comp. Apps 1 that I am taking one semester be a block schedule? And what about Algebra which I have every other day? since its every other day i am taking it all year.

In 18 months my son wants to go on a trip to Zambia for 4 weeks as part of a world challange run by the school.
He will be going out there as part of a group who will be working with the local community to help build a hospice and help out in general.
BUT he needs to raise (as part of the challange) £3,000 to go.
Can you please give ideas on how he can go about raising this money. He is a fit, strong teenager and would consider almost anything.

I'm a professor and from year to year I see students, ON AVERAGE, gradually dropping off in attendence and in general work ethic.

Even at the "top" colleges, the hardest part seems to be getting in. Once in, it seems like many party, cheats, and copies their way to a grade. It bothers me a bit since so many students have state aid or scholarships paying for them to take these classes.

Should professors crack down and start flunking people or just see this as natural with more people going to college?

If you read my other question about the Senior well this adds on to it ok. So finially I got the guts to ask her for help but she didn't sound so happy about it. But every time I go their she is always siting their waiting for me to ask her for help. Also she is uselly so nice to me. But do you think I took to long to finially ask her for help. Their's this class at my school called ADC and you go there to get help with a subject. And a Sr or a Jr helps you with that subject right so I go their to get help with Algebra. So my person is a Sr and I get so nervous when I get near her that I can never get help from her. I usally wait intill she asks me if I need help because I can't ask her because sometime she is doing her work and I don't won't to bother her. So I never can get my work done what should I do because my math teacher really won't me to get help from her but I am so nervous to ask her. I am in the military, so that's why I decided on an onling college. This college is accredited. I have a BA in Anthropology-Sociology, and I am going to Capella and working toward a MS in Mental Health Counseling, and then a Phd in counseling psychology. It is a very intense program, and I will also need to work at an internship/practicum for 4,100 hours, as well as do a dissertation. I will also be a licensed counselor at the completion of my MS. But, I really want to teach at a University, even if it is a community college or some sort of branch. Could I still do this, even though the college is online?
