CAMPAIGN VICTORY.........SUCCESS IN THE ARMS TRADE TREATY VOTE!!!

calling for an international Arms Trade Treaty. After three years of
campaigning, the Control Arms campaign achieved a massive victory on
Thursday, October 26, when 139 governments voted in the favour of a UN
resolution to start work towards an Arms Trade Treaty (ATT). While 24
governments abstained, the United States was the only government to

It was the same with the Kyoto agreement on climate change. The government of the Land of the Free will do just as it bl**dy well likes, and stuff everyone else. Where's the morality and decency of the most powerful country in the world?

Good to hear about the result though - but will it make a difference? When will armies stop seeding land mines, for example

I am totally on your side, but why do I get the feeling that you're quite mad?

It's all part of another successful story in the quest for the accumulation of wealth in a capitalist society as we know it. But it comes at a cost as in you will note that in the recent Lebanon conflict; the Israelis had to resort to cluster bombs. It was probably costing them a 100 million $US a day for the prices they had to pay so it's no wonder peace could not come soon enough.

the question was not actually a question though, it was a statement, it may well have been factual and in no way inflammatory or offensive but it did not ask anything.
I doubt that there is a competition it is more likely to have been someone who was exceptionally bored or who's underwear was too tight on that particular day. Hopefully that'll be the only violation notice you get. good luck in future.

There seems to be. People are getting a little too sensitive about some of the questions on here. I mean, granted there is a lot of spam, but unless the question is REALLY offensive, I think it's ridiculous to report them.
