Whenever you add or edit a course, you will have the option to check Block schedule. If you've taken block courses, then you know that a one-unit block schedule course will be completed in one semester instead of the two semesters needed in a traditional schedule.
Would my class Comp. Apps 1 that I am taking one semester be a block schedule? And what about Algebra which I have every other day? since its every other day i am taking it all year.

It depends. Is your computer class for 90 minutes or just 50? If it is just a 50 minute class then it is not a blocked schedule class. Ninety minutes would mean it is a block.
The same is true for algebra. Because it is every other day then you probably meet for 90 minutes. That would make it a block schedule class.

Aren't computer classes only one semester anyway? You may be able to take comp1 and 2 in same semester.
