The kids are there to help you. They are probably in the National Honor Society and it is part of their obligation to help you.

She is not so busy that she can't help you. She just wants to use her time if there is no one to help.

Do you trust your teacher enough to talk to her about this? Because if you explain the problem to the teacher then the teacher will talk to the senior and ask her to help you each time you go whether you ask for help or not. The teacher will do it in a way so that she will not embarass you.

if this is a class where you are meant to get help then you would not be a bother to her. as for you being nervous ... maybe you like her or maybe you don't want her to think you are stupid or something? just ask for help if you need it. and after the first time you should be fine with asking. good luck with the math !!!
