a) Where does slippage occur first, between the 2 blocks or between the bottom block and the table? Explain
b) What value of the coefficient of static friction between the bottom block and the table would change the answer to part (a)?

A hockey puck is hit on a frozen lake and starts moving with a speed of 12.0 m/s. Exactly 5.0 s later, its speed is 6.0 m/s.
a) What is its acerage acceleration?
b) What is the coefficient of kinetic friction between the puck and the ice?
c) How far does the puck travel during this 5.0 sinterval?

My boyfriend is taking 3 classes this semester. One of the classes he has an A+ in, the other two he is failing. He totally lacks motivation to attend lectures to these classes, or show up for the exams. He's only taken one exam in each one, and I know that he skipped the 2nd exam for one of the classes, and hasn't turned in 3 projects for the other class. The class he has an A in he goes to allll the time. How can I get him to be motivated for the other two classes?

so yeah... someone asked me this number riddle/question. ""What number's double exceeds it's half by exactally 99?" . Im sure its REALLY easy..but im really bad with anything dealing with numbers.
My first thought was 99 ..because It seems to me that the double of 99...exeeds 99 by 99 but he says thats wrong..... but maybe im totally missing something. Lol that and im just horrible at anything with numbers. Help please?
