In my Mother's daycare she has 2 parents that are identical twins. The children know them apart. I don't know how, but they do. One thing is certain. The children love their Aunties A LOT.

My father is an identical twin. When I was a kid it always confused me when they were together. Their voices were the same also, so it was very hard to tell them apart.

Now, my father & my uncle live in different states & have different regional accents to their voices. Mostly the same sounds but slightly different. But they still look like the same person, lol.

I have identical twin sons. When they were babies, I had to keep their hospital ID on their ankles for a long time in order to tell them apart. Then as they grew up it became easier & now that they're grown I can see many differences. But as I look at baby pictures of them, I still have to look on the back of the picture to see who was who.
