Do I have any chance at receiving big scholarships if I haven't created some sort of club in my community, gone on missions or other extreme things?? It worries me, I have the grades but I'm afraid that my community involment isn't good enough...

Write an equation of the line containing the speified point and parrallel to the indicated line.

I have slope =-1
y-4=-1(x-0)
y-4=-x
y=-x+4

Is this right? Or am I doing something wrong?

Teachers of my 6yr old say she cant focus or get from point A to B. She is in first grade. I do not see what they are seeing in the classroom. At home, she follows directions, listens, and accomplishes what is asked of her(most of the time). Are teachers, into just the 6th week of school observing that my child is so inattentive that she has ADD? Does she need medication? Thay say she cant get her thoughts together to write 7 sentences. I am a Business major, but always wanted to write for my occupation. If you are a writer, or consider yourself to be one, preferably concentrating in area of novels or short stories, please tell me if creative writing classes and workshops actually help with one's writing, or does being a good writer depend more on personal experience and passion? I am unsure of whether I should change my major to creative writing, or just take a few courses in it and rely on personal experience to guide me to better writing.

4x-12+8x+5
answer 12x - 7 <<< is that right??
