My employer recently gave me a small first grade class to teach, for both English and Math.

However, I'm not too sure what to give. Knowing me, I might accidentally give material that's too high for their level, no matter how simple it may actually be.

So, please help. What are somethings I can teach/do in class, for English/Math on the first grade level?

This teacher that i assist for somedays, in class, she's all nice and stuff to me. Other days, she seems to find ways to piss me off. When she's alone out in the hall, she'll speak to me. But when she's with her teacher friend, she just stares at me.

I am proud to be a geek/nerd, obsessive computer programming, spend my lunch time in the library, joined the knitting club, book club, in the school marching band, listen to goth, death, heavy metal, and dress like a boy.

Up until now, I had no problems with my personality, until 4 different girls started picking on me for those traits.

I don't think I should change because of them, but any advice?

I looked it up on three different online translators that said it was "obrigado" or something like that, but I don't trust those that much. AND when I translated "obrigado" from Portuguese to English, it translated it into "debtor". lol.

So this is the first real weekend at college. I go to university an hour drive from home. I tried telling myself to just rough it out here, but I had a bad night last night and thinking of driving back home for the weekend. I know there's plenty of other kids doing it too, but am I loser for wanting to do this? I don't want it to become habit, but I really just want some face time with my friends after this first week.

So I'm just looking for advice? What would you guys do in this situation?
