It's my first time teaching children and i need some advice.
What are some good ways to help children memorize bible verses?
And how do you deal with troublesome/rebellious kids? I know children don't respond well to force or threats, so how do i get them to listen?

I've lived in a large, culturally diverse city all my life. The town I'm moving to is charming and very small, but I'm beginning to doubt I'm making the right decision. I think I'm just afraid of being alone, 1500 miles away, without my kids (they want to stay in the big city) for two years. Just the thought of the move fills me with dread, but I know that I must finish my education. Any suggestions in dealing with this?

Let me explain. I want some kind of music that I can think to, study to, write papers to, etc. So nothing with words. I like piano, solo or accompanied by orchestra/wind. One of my favorites right now is the E. S. Posthumus song "Cuzco" not piano, but still good. Another favorite of mine is Gabriela Montero. I love her stuff. Any suggestions?

Calculators may help a students’ growth in knowledge at an earlier age, with calculators, a student may learn mathematical concepts such as long division at lower grade levels. If a student has a choice whether he or she would like to use a calculator, that student would most likely finish his or her homework more expediently, and would have a better chance of receiving a more accurate grade. Over the years, the use of calculators continues to increase. The reasoning for this, I believe is because it basically proves that a student knows what he or she is doing by how they do on their grades. For instance, in a survey of 600 colleges and universities, 85% of mathematic classes had the opportunity to use calculators. In a survey of 146 middle and high schools, 74% of students could use calculators. Although it turns out to be true that calculators sometimes seem to be used when a student does not know how to do the math problem by hand.

this is only part of what i did..

I took a loan out for this semester already. I took out 7500 for the year. That is the max that they will allow for only having 72 hours. When I applied for that amount I only had 72 hours. I now have a total of 74 college hours and can qualify to get the 10,500 dollar loan. I already applied for my 7500 dollar loan this semester and got approved. It will post to my account in about 2 weeks. I will only get about half of that and the other half I will get in the spring semester. My question is....now that I have 74 hours can I apply for the extra loan money even though I already applied? Thanks
