Divide it up and reward yourself. For each portion of homework you complete, you get to do one other thing that you really want to do.
This tendency you have.... attention deficit... you won't necessarily outgrow that! Adults have it, too. Learn to deal with it now, or it will mess up your life, bigtime.

Sounds like you have a slight case of ADD. My son would take 3 hours to do his homework when he was in 3rd grade. Now that he's on meds he gets A's and B's and finishes his homework in 20 - 30 minutes an he's in 6th grade!

Don't do it. Tell your teacher that homework is a stupid concept and that you have better things to do when you are outside of school. Tell him/her that the publicschool system itself is a ridiculous institution and a complete waste of time. You'd learn more browsing the net all day than 8 hours in a classroom. Make sure you announce this loudly in front of the class and then encourage them to rise up with you and start a revolution.
Good luck!

Learn to focus. Take care of business first, then play. Now get off the computer and finish your homework!
