Let me explain. I want some kind of music that I can think to, study to, write papers to, etc. So nothing with words. I like piano, solo or accompanied by orchestra/wind. One of my favorites right now is the E. S. Posthumus song "Cuzco" not piano, but still good. Another favorite of mine is Gabriela Montero. I love her stuff. Any suggestions?

Go for some Chopin (Yves Thibaudet is the best) or possibly some Raul Di Blasio or Richard Clayderman. The music is relaxing and can be listened to at a fairly good volume without being distracting. Or possibly find El concierto de Aranjuez by joaquin rodrigo (composer)

good luck!

I usually turn my digital cable channel to the light classical station, but I also have a CD called Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. It's great for studying and thinking.

I love George Winston, piano or Fresh Aire, instrumental. Manhattan Steam Roller is good too.

Try any composers chamber music and symphonies. Mozart, Chopin, Hayden, et al, really helped me get through the homework. Good luck.
