I have to write a 5-paragraph essay on a topic. I know the setup for a 5-paragraph essay very well: Main idea - 3 reasons to back up the main idea, 1 per paragraph - 3 examples per reason included in each paragraph. BUT... do the examples that back up the reasons have to coincide with the main idea? Like, if I was trying to prove that I make good decisions and I said I'm a fast thinker, but as another part of that example I said I can do math problems quickly... doing math problems quickly doesn't contribute to the fact that I make good decisions... is that okay? Any help, facts or opinions, appreciated.

Problem: There are two containers holding saline solution. The first container has a 10% concentration of saline, while the second container has a 16% concentration. The contents of the two containers are mixed, and the resulting solution is 220mL with a saline concentration of 12%. What was the volume of each of the two original containers' solutions?

Please give me the two equations to use to find the answer. If possible, explain why they are the right equations to use. ty :)

In college the books are so damn expensive so what I mean is that in the college library they have a big copying machine & I want to know if I should copy all my books that I should buy at full price in a copying machine. For example my history book is 500 pages & cost $120 but on the copying machine to copy a page is 5 cents so if I copy all 500 pages at 5 cents each then I can copy the whole book for $25 ($0.05 times 500=$25) Is this illegal or can I go to jail for it or should I totally do it to save big bucks on book fees. The only problem is that it would take an hour or longer to copy a 500 page book depending on how fast the machine copys each page.
