it's more fun and provides you with freedom. you can chose what you want to do and which classes you WANT to take. if you have your major picked out, all the better. the social life is wonderful, the independence is amazing! =) the first year might be difficult if you don't have a major picked out, and dont' know which way you want to go educationally. but it's a time to explore and get to know your likes and dislikes...it's about you!! enjoy it!

I'm a freshman and all I can say is that it depends on your college. It's really fun where I am, the people understand, and the only drama I have is what I brought from home. Seriously, I'm having so much fun here. Don't be scared, but wary and nervous. It's not as hard as the teachers in high school made it seem. I mean, it's 6 at night, I finished classes at 11, and I'm done with all my work and papers and stuff. It's not difficult. Have fun!

No it's much worse, professors are strictor about late homeworks they don't care if you not in their class, and they won't except any excuses about why u weren't there or any late homeworks. you get more stressed out it's just how college life is if your not a geek, anyway it's how i'm experiencing it so far, the good thing about is, everyone is more mature and yea there is hardly ever drama, it's not like highschool, but don't be scared if you follow the professors advice and alwayz in class and turning in papers on time you'll do good. Just Don't Be Scared your not the only one who felt like that.

I'm finding college to be worse than high school. You're on your own, away from the comfort and familiarity of home. Plus, the classes in college are much harder. You can't BS anything, you have to work a lot to pass.

not at all, but then again it depends on where you are going. i loved the people i met more so than the school. i went to a private college so some things we didnt have or weren't able to do because of stupid rules/policy. But i loved every bit of it. If it could go back again i would. who could forget those midnight cram sessions, late night sneak outs, the band, games, dorm life, etc....it doesnt get any better than that.

college will be the best four years (seven for me) of your life. It's different than high school because it is not as structured, and thinking for yourself rather than you teacher is generally encouraged. just relax, party, have fun, and do a little bit of studying in between. I guarantee you will miss it so much when you graduate.

nope. There isn't much drama. Its cool because you get to study what you want. BUT its hard because theres alot of readings to keep up with and tests are a bit harder.
Do your best and work hard and you won't have a poblem!
I you're struggling with work don't be afraid to ask for help, there are always people around that are willing to help!

Yes. You must study on your own and the instructors will not hold your hand.
No. You get to do whatever you want.
