It means a member of the races of people who have PALE / WHITE SKINS.(quite the opposite of people with black skins.
Here is an Etimological note on the term:'Caucasian' :
Has been in use since 1807, from Caucasus Mountains, between the Black and Caspian seas; applied to the "white" race 1795 (in Ger.) by German . anthropologist Johann Blumenbach, because their supposed ancestral homeland lay there.
Lit.erally it means, "resident or native of the Caucasus" & has been in use since 1843.
The mountain range name is from Greek. kaukhasis, from Scythian kroy-khasis which means "(the mountain) ice-shining."

Caucasion means white. So if someone refers to a person as caucasion they are saying that it is a white person.

Caucasian is a racial term describing those originating from the Caucasus.
It is commonly used to describe the `white` race by americans and some others I believe, but never have I heard it used to describe either modesty or wealth in this country.

someone of the 'Caucasoid' race. Typically reserved for people of European decent. In slang, we're talking white-folk.
I don't really think that the three 'major' races (being negroid (black), mongoloid (east-Asian/oriental), and Caucasoid (white)) are even used anymore in anthropology. These terms were just too constricting.
