vain= like proud
vein= you blood vessel (vein)
vane= like the thing that's on farm houses and blows aroung w/ the wind

Vain is full of yourself, vein is where you stick yourself if so inclined, and vane is the wind direction indicator on houses. Usage: He was so vain he popped a vein while repairing his vane.
