I need a website where I can publish my poems because I'm a poet who is only 11 years old and wanting desperately to publish them. They're wonderful! U can ask me if u want to read the poems. So I need this site where I can publish them and also get some ideas and topics for new poems and also where I can see works of other poets like Wordsworth maybe for example.

The lesson plans provided by Abeka didn't take as long as I needed them to. In SC you're suppose to spend 4 1/2 hrs a day teaching. I went by abeka curriculum and it only took about 3 hours. Any ideas on how to make them last longer?

What is the difference between a homeschooling school system like NorthStar Academy, Moringstar Academy, Christian Liberty Academy when they provide with books, tests, homework, book reports, projects just like a high school, except that you are learning at home? Even when you graduate, you get a high school diploma, transcripts from the school, all the offical stuff.

I know there are also other homeschooling resources where the parents teach their kids, they buy their own boo materials and you don't get a diploma.

So why is there a difference in the first type of homeschooling mentioned compared to high school?

At work I see a healthy ammount of people from developing countries who have earned degrees at some nice universities here in the States.

Growing up, my family did not have the money to put me into College nor did I have the perfect grades to get a scholarship. (3.2 GPA).

How are these people able to come from Pakistan and graduate from our Universities? I'm not knocking it... I'm just wonder how it's possible considering it was close to impossible for me....wait...yeah it was impossible.

Thanks.

I just realized (too late to drop) that my college algebra class is too hard for me, and I'm struggling to keep up. I'm getting tutoring, so that's not really my problem. I'm just wondering how college algebra is going to help me in my daily life. Not including whatever career I choose, when am i going to be needing functions, roots, quadratics, and inverses in my day-to-day life?
