I have to agree with frauholzer's answer. I am a student teacher currently teaching kindergarten. I know that students of any age do not want to be bothered with an activity during the bus ride to and from the fieldtrips location. Let the kids socialize with their friends and enjoy the excitement that is building up before they get to the fieldtrip's location. Now, if you really have your heart set on doing an activity for the bus, try doing a trivia game on the way home, asking questions regarding what the students learned while on the fieldtrip.

Good luck and have fun on the fieldtrip.

Nothing
They'll probably be pretty good if your trip is less than an hour. They will enjoy the time to actually socialize with their friends instead of sitting quietly all day. If you allow them to bring their ipods etc, they will even be quiet!
Just make sure that they stay in their seats. It helps if you sit in the middle or back or the bus, not in the front! (If you sit in the back, you can maintain rules from the back and the driver will kind of guard the front...)
