This is for a Pharmacy class and I cannot find the answer in the book. The question is exactly as follows...."Drug effects that result from a drug circulating through the body are called __________ effects." Then the next one says "Drug effects that are confined to the area where the drug was administered are called __________ effects." I have seriously tried to find the answer, but cant seem to come up with anything that matches these fill-in blank questions. Please help me if you can. Thanks!!

How much homework do you get everynight? I get like 4 to 5 hours every night. In ap history you get like 3 to 5 every week. I am just wondering cause this much homework is really stressful. I have 6 classes, last year we had 4.

Obviously, I could just open a college book by U.S. & World Report or some other source, but I'd like to hear from people who have actually had interactions with schools.

It's a 10 part answer. I can think of a few, like he started the Islamic problem, and he and Clinton & Albright gave the North Koreans billions to build nuclear weapons with. But I need 8 more. Any help would be great. I need to turn this in by Friday. Does his fear of killer rabbits count ?

Almost done with my my nursing pre-req's and starting to think about which schools I want to go to. I was thinking about going to a RN program at one of the hospitals here in san antonio, tx. It's 2 years and afterwards if I want to pursue a BSN I can do so through the baptist univeristy program they have. I was wondering if thats a good thing to do or try for the ADN program at a comm college here i've been looking at, the only problem is i qualify to apply but i dont have my math levels completed in order to do so, so thats the only thing thats keeping me from applying. Where as the RN program at the hospital doesnt require i have my math right now. I know that if i want a BSN i'll have to have it. I dont know what to do, so many decisions. Hoping to get into nursing school for FALL 2007.

Also... is it bad to take 2 science courses together in the same semster? Thinking about doing that for spring semster.

We've been homeschooling now for three years. My daughter knows the schedule and what her work load is going to be. She is involved with other homeschoolers, as well as with her neighborhood friends. But recently she has been extremely resistant to doing the work. She argues with me, sits there and doodles rather then work and then, when she gets extra work or it takes time away from the "fun" stuff, she is furious. I know it comes with the adolescent territory, but I could use some advice on how I can keep my cool as well as my desire to teach at home!

Hi, I'm a Computer Science major... classes are very tough, and the semester which is basically a trimester, since it only lasts about 3 months goes very fast. The books for the classes are extremely thick and big. I've been trying to read them, but I just get way behind on everything. A chapter is about 60 pgs. Four clases make that about, 240 pages per week of not just leisure reading... but pages full of difficult concepts.

So, should I just forget about the reading and just focus on the main concepts taught in class?

Doing the reading, I get As in tests... but these courses also require a lot of projects, which I have no time because of the reading. So I end up with Bs, Cs, or even, Ds.

If I don't do the reading, I get Bs or Cs on the tests... but have time for the projects, which count as a test.

What should I do? do y'all read? I hear people always talking about what they read, and so on... are they just bragging?

Thanks.
