The aliens I envision are hot, sexy blonds (but Asian works too). they are very lonely since there is no such thing as intimacy where they are from and the reason they are here is they kept getting transmissions of "Desperate Housewives" and are very curious about the male species. I'd take a shower, shave and splash on some Polo cologne.

I would do everything possible to defend myself and family....fight even with my bare hands if it came to it!! I would raid the first gun supply shop and get a arsenal of weapons and also make my own types as well!! I would also get food,water,provisions to last for long time! Run for the hills or other low populated areas!
