I have done that in the past, I take all my classes through the internet, I have learned to get up in the morning, and make sure my cleaning and all my errands are done, and free myself up so the rest of the day I sit on the computer and take care of what I need to. Keep thinking positive and know the good outcome school can have, reach a goal and you can do it, Life is too short, get motivated and clear your mind. Good Luck!

First, thinking that you absolutely have to do something is a major reason for procrastination. When you tell yourself that you have to do something, you're implying that you're being forced to do it, so you'll automatically feel a sense of resentment and rebellion. Procrastination kicks in as a defense mechanism to keep you away from this pain. If the task you are putting off has a real deadline, then when the deadline gets very close, the sense of pain associated with the task becomes overridden by the much greater sense of pain if you don't get started immediately.
The solution is to think of starting one small piece of the task instead of mentally feeling that you must finish the whole thing. Replace, "How am I going to finish this?" with "What small step can I start on right now?" If you simply start a task enough times, you will eventually finish it.
Good luck!

Just do it so u'll be done with it and u can go on with ur day. Cuz all it does is cause problems later then u'll be mad cuz u have to do it. Whether u wait later or tomorrow to do it before class ur gonna have to do it anyway so just do it now. I'm a forner procrastinator and ive learned to manage my time and priorities and it has made my life sooo much eaiser.

Well first off, I would get off yahoo answers.....
If you are STILL reading this after I told you to get off... then I would disconnect your computer and any additional distractions. If all else fails borrow some ritalin from someone, it really helps train the focus.
If you are STILL reading this, there is no hope.

try to have someone else set firm deadlines for you with rewards if you get things done. It always helps when I have a deadline that someone else sets for me...
