I live outside of Boston, it's not bad but I don't like how cold it can get around here. We're friendly but not friendly enough. I liked visiting manhattan but too many people, expensive, and of course the winters have got to be as bad as the ones here. So- Suggestions? I also want to go to school full time work part time .

I need some help!!! I am attending a trade school and my financial aid records are not correct!

The school cost $19,765
Registration fee -100
Scholarship -5,000
Pell Grants -8,100

Total cost is $6,565 in student loans owed

I always get a month statement. Every month has reflected this cost up untill last month. They say I owe them over $13,000!!! I still have my scholarship and pell grants so I don't understand what costs so much?!?!? I spoke with my financial aid office 4 times and she has given me four different totals that I owe. I called FAFSA, Oregon student commission, US bank (loan holder, Sallie Mae, and National Student load Data Base. Unfourthuntely then say that I am at the mercy of my financial aid office because that is as high as you can go!!! What do I do now????? Thanks all

I have heard that you can not file as independent until you are 25 years old even if you live by yourself and are not supported by your parents at all. is that true? I know that one exception would be to be married but I'm not looking to do that quite yet.

What does a foreign student need to do apart from taking the IELTS in order to study in a British university/college? (for example, like in the US they ask for the GPA, the SAT, TOEFL, letters of recommendation, etc, what do they ask for un the UK?)
