well, i usually try a whats what under hte bonnet quiz... who makes which car..national marques. like who makes audi, and whats audi stand for? auto union deutche industrie... who ir what is VAG, who wants an Aston... me me me...
and distances required to brake from a given speed..and how fast your travelling at 60mph (88 feet per second.. 120mph=166 FPS... 180mph 240 FPS.... and of course the biggest hurdle of all, teaching them loosy left and tighty right...

and i just read an answer you posted regarding diesels running on chip oil..your conclusions are wrong. its got nothing to do with lack of lubrication which destroys diesel injector pumps...the oil is acidic...it needs neutralising, and itll work perfectly.. hte metal inside the pump isnt hardened or treated,its supposed to run in a neutral PH diesel oil... how do i know, i bought a volvo off chipshop johnny...it cost 300 quid to fix, and its ran like a dream for teh last 3 years... check out biodiesel... on google of course.

How about throwing a ball and between the previous person throwing it and then next person catching it they have to say the name of a car part? Or there's always the alphabetical memory game... Person who starts says "I went to the garage and i bought an Alfa Romeo" next person, "I went to the garage and i bought an Alfa Romeo and a BMW" etc until you've done the whole alphabet or everyone is out cos they can't remember all the previous ones. Another idea is to get a number of pictures of cars or car parts, cut them up into 3 or 4 pieces and randomly give them out to the whole group. People have to then move around and find the other people whose pieces make up the whole picture. Hope these help you.
