Where did that term originate? Surely it's applicable to podiatrists only...that's all it would make sense for as far as I am aware of!

I don't fully understand this whole thing. I'm deciding to go back to school and it's convenient to do it online. But my question is this, if I decided to get my Associate of Science in Psychology degree what would I end up being? I mean I won't be a doctor right?? So, what kind of jobs would I be able to get?? Would I be a psychologist or a counselor?? I don't understand this whole thing? Help me if you understand this please! Thanks!

I don't know what it the pattern is. I know during your senior year of high school, you apply to college, than go through undergrad years between the general ages of 18-22, than apply to professional school such as law school, and go there between 23-26. Right now i go to community college, which is going to take up my 18-20 ages, than transfer to the university and go there between 20-22. I was just wondering if people actually wait awhile like a couple of years, than apply to law school like at age 27. If i wanted to fit a semester of studying abroad under my undergrad years, what would be the most suitable time to do it. I have to go to community college because i'm tryna save money, so studying abroad would be best right out of community college or in between the university years are exactly right after university years in front of professional years? This is kind of a confusing question, so bear with me here in trying to figure out what i'm saying.

I had a horrible first year. Payback, anyone? Also, maybe you can modify this bulletin for myspace. Dear Freshmen!Congrats....now you're the lowest of the low scum of the Earth. Here are just a few helpful words of advice:1) You are Not cool.2) Everyone Does Hate You.3) You are annoying. - Do not wear muscle or sleeveless shirts... your not big, you look gay. - Don't think your on varsity just because you carry bags for the seniors, it's not cool. - You are a F-R-E-S-H-M-A-N.. not a "Freshie".. shut up you sound gay. - Don't think you're cool because your parents let you drink wine coolers. - Don't try the Emo scene. Just don't do it. - DO NOT think that the upperclassmen are your best friends. - Don't think that you have privacy now that you're in high school. Once you're here, your business is everyone's business, yes there IS still drama, probably even more. - Don't try to sit at upperclassmen lunch tables. You will be picked up and thrown onto the floor.

I got into an argument about this one....
Does sand reproduce????? NO!!! , so isn't it finite? There IS an end if someone (many people) took the time to count it.
Just curious what other people think.....

I am a senior in high school and am agonizing over what college to go to. Part of me wants to go to a small school, because its more intimate and you go to know profesors more. Is it true that its hard to learn in a large classroom? Part of me also wants to go to a big university because there are more opportunities. What are the advantages of small vs large universities?

For example:

Rock a bye baby....(the cradle falls)
3 Blind Mice (they chop off their tales)
Ring Around the Rosey (about the black plague)
Humpty Dumpty (he cracks himself open)
Little Miss Muffet (spiders scares her away)
Old Mother Hubbard (her dog starves)
Hey Diddle Diddle (were they on acid?)
The Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe (she beat all of her kids and sent them to bed without supper)
Jack and Jill (Jack breaks his "crown")

Did I forget any?

Why are they all so morbid?

I live in North Carolina and my daughter is in elementary school. Her school supply list at first seemed basic to me and then towards the bottom of the list they asked for disposable cameras, toilet paper, bandaids, paper towels? I didn't make ant sense to me. I thought that they used crayons and pencils and paper and other learning materials. Should I complain to the school system about them asking for things I can't see a 3rd grader needing to use. Ok maybe the toilet paper she will use but come on, what do my tax dollars pay for?
