If you are fluent in another language other than English then you can probably go to the counseling department and tell them that and almost ALL universities will allow you to take a verbal/written test in your first language to prove you are fluent and then they will waive the 2 years of foreign language requirement for you.
If that doesn't work, I suggest you just take the 2 classes but take them in YOUR native language. It will be really easy, and just act like you wanted to brush up on your grammar and writing skills in that language you already speak.
Good luck!

Since English isn't your primary language (you took English as a Second Language, ESL), then you should be exempt from taking any foreign language courses. English is your foreign language! Ask the registrar's office or the department of pharmacy about an exemption.

You already have a foreign language if you are from another non English speaking country. Work on improving your English. They usually want foreigners in Pharmacy Schools. If you know 2 languages that's great.

Are you a senior in high school or senior in college?? You could still transfer to a pharmacy university but they will make you take two years of foreign language because that's a requirement. Once your have fulfilled all you General Education classes they will put you in Pharmacy classes. Hope I helped. Good luck.

If your native language is something other then English you shouldn't have a problem, as long as its a mainstream language like Spanish. Your school will most likely tell you to take an exam for a language class and if you pass it will go on your transcript, that way you won't need to take a class because you already passed the final exam. Check with your school to make sure, they will probably inform you better than I can. Good Luck.

If you took ESL, then you are a native speaker of some other language. That will count as your foreign language. Since it is your native language, they will probably let you skip having to take two years of classes. Check with your advisor.

If you know a foreign language as your first language, you should be able to get credit for that as fulfilling the requirement - I would contact someone in Admissions or in the department to be sure.

You can probably challenge the foreign language requirement by doing a test in your native langauge. Talk to an academic advisor in your department for more information.

You say you're a foreign student. Check with the counselors to see if you can get credit for the other language you already speak.
