What part of English? Grammar? Punctuation? Spelling? Or are you including Literature and Reading, too?
You are in 7th grade. No one expects you to know everything. Why do you think they teach this in EVERY grade from K through 12th?
Look at the subject as a pie. If you try to eat it all at once, you will get sick; however, if you only eat a small piece each day, you will eventually finish it. Don't try to overdo it.
Listen to the other posters on this site. Talk to your teachers and let them know you are having troubles. Teachers get so little feedback from their students until it is too late.
And one last note: To be successful in school, you don't have to be the best in the class, just BE in class ready to learn.

TAYLOR! How dare you insult me? I am your English teacher.
lol, just kidding. But, seriously, maybe you should let your parents know if you can switch out. I had a really bad Science teacher one year, she taught nothing but metric system. She claimed to be retired, but was really fired and somehow came back to the school again. It was crazy. Anyway, let your parents know that you really want to improve in English and you can't with your teacher like that. One thing I realized(now I'm in high school). The SAT's are the one of the most important factors in having a good future, so you should have a good English teacher. It makes all the difference. If you can't switch, talk to your teacher and let her know you wanna do well in the class. Or read up on Reading books or those SAT practice books. There are chapters that have millions of tips in English not just those tests. Good luck!
Oh, and please don't report me because I pretended to be ur teacher. lol

Many people are in the same boat. Try doing more reading of novels or English Literature. Examples: John Steinbeck "Travels With Charlie" "Of Mice and Men" "For Whom the Bell Tolls" Hemingway Fahrenheit 451 Ray Bradbury "Battlefield Earth" L. Ron Hubbard. These are only for example sake, not meant you should absolutely read. Look in your library at school, or ask the librarian for some ideas.

Get pregnant, drop out and go on welfare. Add to your income by becoming a prostitute.
That's one way. The other is to quit whining, start studying and realize that there is no one in the world that can make you a better you than you can. Learn all you can, soak it up like a sponge. The more you learn, the better off you will be when you finally leave school and get out in the world. Now is the time to form the habits that can make you a great person. Go for it!

Jr. High is a tough adjustment but if you look hard enough you can find that one teacher that is willing to give some extra help. Don't give up! Please, get the basics now because you will really struggle in high school if you don't. Talk to your guidance counselor or Principal, maybe they can help you find the tutoring you need. Best of luck!

Study harder and buy a dictionary. Also, it's not the teachers fault for making u hate them, whatever they're doing is all part of their cirriculum. And if it's not, they're just mad because they're hideously underpaid

i remember those days...(well im in the 9th grade) lol.
ask your teachers you don't get it.
go afterschool if your ashamed.
your teacher has to help you. if she doesn't she's a bad teacher.
after you understand it you don't have to go back again.
trust me you might not want to see your parents mad at you because of your grade. if you get good grades good for you and you might get something from them.
