Does it bother any of you parents that most cartoons are now creating more and more evil monsters of darkness (demon like figures), and so called super powered creatures that use the forces of witchcraft to battle against their evil foes, which teaches our children that , perhaps its alright to get into witchcraft when and if they need help, rather than teaching them about praying to the almighty God , who has all power, and will help them in the time of need.

For the last three years I have worked through my lunch hour and left an hour early. This means I can drop my daughter at breakfast club and pick her up after school. I work 37 hours a week as a science technician, often working a few hours to complete tasks outside school. I am in the UK
I do not want to stop for lunch. I work 7.5 hours a day. Is there a problem with this?

A man lives in a house and leaves his lights on all night long, every night. He never comes out except when a shipment of goods come in. One night, there was a horrible storm where noone would be able to see anything because there were clouds everywhere. The man go so scared he turned off all the lights and went to the deepest part of his house where there were no windows and brought nothing but a small lamp with him.

This will be my second year teaching. Last year, I had to follow my team's plan for reading and writing which was not as much of a workshop as I prefer. I am finding that I am overhwhelmed with trying to consider all concepts in my planning and am now looking for a good model to follow that I can then adapt. I thought I'd see if any teachers out there had a good resource for a sample format for organizing and guiding indpendent readers and writers that I could take and adapt to meet the needs of my students.
