The chicken. God created all animals and none of them started out as eggs during Creation.

Okay, setting aside creationist debates, the answer is the egg. There is an animal we now call a chicken, and if you believe that it evolved from something else, there is a point in that evolution when it became a chicken. Before that point, it was something else, probably very much like a chicken, but sufficiently different nonetheless. This kind of change generally takes place in the egg, not in the chicken.

Think about it another way; think about mating a lion with a tiger. The offspring will be either a Tigon or a Liger. Let's say Tigon for moment. When the embryo is created, it is genetically a Tigon and remains a Tigon while it grows up and until it dies. The embryo came first. Before the embryo, it wasn't a Tigon. The chicken comes after the egg. Before that egg, it might not have been exactly a chicken. Of course, I'm talking about the original chicken.

Technically, it would be the egg, because eggs have existed long before chickens (e.g. dinosaur eggs). The chicken came much later, with the earliest record of the animal in Ancient Greece texts.

If your an evolutionist freak like the first dude is, then yes, the egg came first, if your a creationist, then the chicken came first. God thought that it was there and it was there. Same thing for the universe and for the Earth.

well it probably depends on how they are cooked... I mean if it is just scrambled eggs then of course that will come first...but if you use the eggs to make some delicious dessert then the chicken might come to the table first... some chicken dishes are relatively simple and quick to prepare... so... it is hard to say without a menu. ;

EGG! EVOLUTION IS the PROCESS of CREATION!

What do you believe in creationism or evolution?
creationism believes the chicken did.
evolutionist believes the egg did.
So its just a matter of what you choose to believe.
