I am an Emergency Medical Technician student and I am starting ride time on the ambulance with a paramedic for the first time Friday morning, in a few hours--just as an observer. It soesn't bother me in pictures but I have never seen anything really gruesome in real life. so how can I block out the horrible things I see or will it just haunt me for the rest of my life?

Place 100 pennies in a large, flat, covered container.

Shake the pennies several times, open the cover, and remove either the heads or tails.

Record the number of pennies removed and those remaining.

Repeat the process until no pennies are left in the tray.

If heads were removed the first time, then heads must be removed every time.

Graph the results, plotting pennies remaining in the container on the x-axis, and the number of times the container was shaken on the y-axis.

Relate the results to the half-life of a radioactive element.

About how much would I have to make per year if I would like to own a BMW someday, live in at least a 2 story house, and be able to afford all the clothes i want w/out worrying about whether or not its on sale? All the books I see on preparing for law school are about the LSAT, choosing schools, how to study, etc...I'm looking for a book that outlines (not like a detailed commercial outline for current students) the first year classes. I.e. like this is what a contract is, these are the types, this is what a tort is, etc... I can't find any on Amazon...any advice?

A friend was telling me that he knew some kids in the 8th grade (about 13 or 14) who did drugs (like steroids or cocain etc.) at his school. I used to go to this person's school and it is a very well managed Private School. Do you think it is plausible that 13 and 14 year olds in NYC would be on drugs, or do you think it was made up to try to sound "hip" or "cool?"
