My text book says that this bulb is a special feature of the clinical thermometer which differentiates it from the normal mercury thermometer found in weather stations. A question paper asks this question and I am unable to find it. Best of luck and look out for the ten points. :-)

Okay... its an odd question, but it would be much appreciated if someone would answer this. If there aren't any exact translations, the closest equivalent would be fine. Thanks in advance!

Here is the riddle!

ysour*htavr*
**nowutahn**
psiemat***ih
as*,*dbaitei
nott*afaore.
eg*othget.*i
*r**tymyftfr
erta*nmumn*?

Due to popular demand, I will now post a very helpful hint. The string of words, once jumbled (similar to how the previous ones were), were then put in eight lines of twelve. Without fiddling with the new lines, I straightened it out into a string and then cut it up into twelve lines of eight. I only applied one more step to them, and this step put the words back into eight lines of twelve. Now to solve this riddle, you are going to have to think, "What one step, without putting them into a string and reslicing, can get twelve lines of eight from this disgusting jumble of letters?" Hope this helps!!

Also the British word for elevator, lift. All of these words mean something that raises. But these things also come down. That is not elevating, lifting or escalating.
I call an "elevator" a vertical transport compartment.
I call a "down escalator" a de-escalator or simply a moving stair.
My daughter thinks I am silly. Does anyone else share my opinion?
