Adam wasn't missing a rib. That is a common mistranslation. By what my Bible says the proper translation could be that it was flesh from his side, not his rib. That would actually make more sense. Now to the one who said about Adam and Eve weren't meant to have Children all I can say is WHAT??? The pain of childbirth was to increase for Eve. They would have had to have some in the Garden for it to INCREASE. They were meant to have children. Actually brains sounds better then navel if you ask me. First off some people don't have navels really. Also what makes you think that they wouldn't have had them just to blend in? Brain makes more sense because they ate the Fruit of Knowledge, which gave them the knowledge of God. So not having brains kinda makes a logical sense.
