Nothing.
Iraq was not involved in 9/11. Saddam had nothing to do with Bin Laden--they hated each other.

There is speculation that Saddam had ties with Osama Bin Laden. It is a fact that the two knew each other, but it safe to say that neither liked the other very much. Either way, there is without a doubt an Al-Qaeda presence in Iraq now, and the Coalition needs to stay until Iraq can secure their freedom alone.
The reason the Coalition forces went into Iraq was based on two things; shoddy intelligence about weapons of mass destruction, and the need to lay down the U.N.'s law because they are a bunch of push overs. The first reason has yet to be substantiated, but the second reason is a known fact. The U.N. had given Iraq so many chances to come back into the diplomatic community as a non-threat, but over a 30+ year time frame they repeatedly chose to ignore the U.N. When the U.N. failed to actually do anything about Saddam's refusal to "play nice", the Coalition took matters into their own hands.

Nothing, but Georgy Junior was told they had weapons of mass destruction and he wanted to finish dad's war. Now we are stuck in a quagmire and can't leave until the Iraq government is stable and able to take up their own defense. If we leave too early then we end up with the mess that was in Afghanistan--Hello extremists.

They were allies with Al-queda, who both used to be allies of ours in the 80's. Alliances change, and the terrorists are hard to find so Iraq was an easy target since we had fought there before so they took us to war again.
