The diet I'm on says I can eat what I want one day a week. When I go out to eat, the food tastes different now. Has this happened to you? I'm OK with that, but I'm curious.

I would like to hear about different places to eat around the United States. What do they serve, what do they do that is special. Example (I have been to Lamberts"home of the throwed roll" in Missouri ,they serve great homesyle food and a man walks around with a basket of hot rolls and he throws them to you like a baseball.

I've heard that you can set your utencils crossing and facing up meaning that you're not satisfied. Yet if they are crossing and facing down then you were satisfied with your meal. What is the proper etiquette on this

Thank you for your answers

Does anyone know the purpose of this? The waiter brings out your soup bowl and places it in front of you. It usually has some dry ingredients already in it (mushrooms, seafood, etc) and then they have a little ladel filled with the broth/soup and pour it into the bowl right in front of you. Is there a reason for this? Or is it just fancy presentation.

I
In my free time I like to listen to music. Music is relaxing and it helps me fall asleep. I like it when after a long day of working, I play a song that I love and it helps clear my mind. It's like I don't worry about anything around me but relaxed. I also like music because music helps me fall asleep. Some nights when I can't sleep, I just pop a smooth song and after the first few hours I just fall asleep and wake up latter with so much energy. That’s what I do on my free time.

So I want to get dinner for my girlfriend... she's drunk and passed out already. She's all into this diet thing so nothing greasy. There is nowhere to get chineese food either. What's a good thing to eat that's reasonably healthy, but won't upset her stomach further?
