The diet I'm on says I can eat what I want one day a week. When I go out to eat, the food tastes different now. Has this happened to you? I'm OK with that, but I'm curious.

I've noticed that too. I also recently tried a low fat and regular fat frozen chicken breast stuffed with broccoli. And the regular fat one had the same weird taste you're talking about from restaurants.

I ALSO noticed that sugary sodas taste weird after I've gone without for a while.

You just adjusted your taste buds to other types of food. It sort of like getting use to different ethnic spices.

If you go without sugar for a while and eat something, such as a yogurt, it tastes soooo sweet.

It will effect your energy level also. When I eat fried foods I feel more sluggish.

Yes once you clean your body of impurities by filling it with healthy food, your taste buds adjust to food that good for you, and food thats not begins to taste different or even bad.

Almost all restaurants now have healthy selections--so even if you go out you don't have to eat the most fatty, cholesterol-full, greasy food you can find.
