Almost all the big chain fast food places understand that it's the kids that drag the parents in. Why? Because they want a new toy. These companies are legendary for creating a series of toys that are released weekly (e.g. associated & timed with a new movie).

Fast Food knows no sane parent would choose fast awful food over their local mediocre full service restaurants. So then, why don't the mediocre full service restaurants understand that the free kids meal isn't a significant enough bait to draw customers? Wouldn't you think they'd figure out that the toy formula (i.e. dangle the carrot) works much better? Advertisors seem to know you work the kid to get to the parent. Why don't full service restaurants get it?

Do you know how irritating it is? It seems like a such a simple thing, and YES, it's the servers job but NOT ONE restaurant is set up for it? (like nails on a blackboard)

The steaks at steakhouses are much better in taste and quality than the ones you buy in a grocery store. So where do they get their steaks from?

A christian group said grace at a well known restaurant out loud ,other customers bowed their heads also. After the grace the manager told the group public prayer was illegal and not allowed at that restaurant and if they did it again they would have to leave .
GOD is being taken out of everything !
How much longer is GOD going to take this ?
GOD , help us all . Amen

I work in a buffet restaurant. and found a problem lately. i had a couple came in yesterday. they all finished eating and called me over to their table and told me that they didn't have enough money to pay for the bill. i asked if the lady had money, they said no. i told them we took credit card, they said they didn't have any card. i told the guy he could go get the money and come back, he said he couldn't. the bill was $52 and i asked him how much he had with him. he said he only had $40. the way he looked at me was like: i only have $40, do u wanna take it or not?

For me, when i go out and dine, i'll make sure that i have enough money. and if you don't have enough money, then you have to think of a way of paying the bill. I don't understand how people could be that irresponsible for what they did.

i just want to know, will this kind of thing will happen in other restaurant instead of just buffets. and how would you handle that as a manager/ owner/ worker?

I am thinking about working at Hooters but want to know from people who have worked there or ate there & their experiences. Not that I want it as a full time career just to make enough 2 set up my website & start my modeling career. Also the girls I have seen have not really had big boobs or a figure at all really. I am size 9 with 35DD and I feel that the flat girls will hate me right away which doesnt bother me, but I also work out every day & am pretty muscular so I would hate for the managers to see me in the outfit & send me home lol anyways let me know! Thanks guys <3 Melanie myspace.com/thatspoiledbella
