Do you ever go to a restaurant (not a fast food place), and end up next to a table with completely obnoxious, out-of-control children? Does it seem like the parents are blind to the fact that their children are disrupting the entire place?
I realize that I am paying the same prices for the same food that they are, and they should be entitled to eat at the same place I am eating, but should I have to listen to their kids scream?
Where does one draw the line, why should my dining experience be ruined because of someone else's kids? At what point should this family be asked to either leave the establishment or at least quiet their child?
I've so much to say on this matter, but I'll leave it in you hands. What do you think should be done? What Can be done?

There have been a couple of other questions about this...
What is your ethnicity? How much do you generally tip for top-notch service? (ie good food, service with a smile, timely manner, etc) How were you brought up to tip?

I ask this because, as a server for more than 3 years (a very good one at that!) I always ALWAYS treat every table the same. But then there's the issue of tables with blacks. Our black servers hate waiting on tables with blacks (harsh generalization, I know, but in my industry it happens... FYI I'm biracial). For the most part, blacks come into our restuarant later in the evening (9-close) for dinner, get served, rack up a $60 bill and tip $4-5 (if you're lucky). I know people from Asia and Europe simply don't have tipping where they come from... but what is the cause of this phenomenon?

((Note: common tipping practices include 15-18% of the bill, BEFORE discounts. Anything below 15% is insulting.))

before i go on any date i always bring mints with me after the food incase i get lucky. this was a typical date nothing special dinner and movie. anyways i chewed on mints the whole time after we ate up until her place. when we started making out her breath totally reeked. it was sooo bad i didn't want to open my mouth to kiss her. i knew i would get laid but i couldn't look past the bad breath so i told her i didn't want to go in and i left. her breath tasted like something crawled in there and died. i tried breathing through nose and i couldn't i really don't want to call her again. i mean yea we did eat and she chose something garlicy tasting i think. that is why. but i just tottaly got turned off from her breath even though she a cuty i don't really want to see her again. i changed my perspective of her. if you were in my position would you try again or would you move on? ( btw i didn't want to say anything to her about the bad breath)
